Please reach us at info@yorktownpetlodge.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No! We do not. A “power” breed is still more than welcome to come to our facility! Our staff is welcoming of all dogs!
We do not require a deposit for any reservations made nor do we charge a cancellation fee, however, if you do need to cancel we do ask for a courtesy call in advance.
Each suite comes with a kuranda bed that can be raised or lowered depending on your dog’s comfort needs. We have blankets and towels on site for further comfort. We also prefer to use our in house bowls for your pet, as we do not wish to risk losing your personal bowls.
We do recommend that you bring your dog’s regular food. Changing food on them suddenly can result in upset stomach and diarrhea.
We tend to be booked up a month in advance! We highly recommend that you put in your reservation as soon as you know the dates.
If we do not have the availability we can waitlist your dog. We do look at each booking to see if it can be accommodated in other rooms. Waitlist is first come first serve and depends on if we get cancellations.
We do have some staff members that would be willing to dog sit if we are fully booked. You can just call or email if you are interested!
We do offer house food, we use Kirkland Chicken and Rice and Kirkland Lamb and Rice
We like to have the dogs out at a MINIMUM of 4 times a day. We do make sure all of our guests have plenty of outside time to potty and play.
There is no additional charge to have your dog go out in a group setting and we do encourage the dogs to socialize and play while they are here.
We can administer medications and will go over the instructions thoroughly with you when you check in. We also have a fridge on site for any meds that might need to be refrigerated.
ABSOLUTELY! If you want your dog to try a group play setting we will accommodate that. If your dog is not neutered or spayed we will make sure they still playtime in a group without the opposite sex.
Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
We do offer tours at any time, but we do recommend Monday-Saturday from 1:30 PM - 4 PM
NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY!!
We welcome ALL dogs! However dogs that are not fixed after the age of 6 months can try to go in the daycare group as long as there are no signs of aggression from the unfixed dog and/or the dogs around it.
For safety concerns we do prefer for them to be Spayed or Neutered!
We do offer basic spa services which include baths and nails.
We have a variety of dog shampoos for different skin types.
We use a dremel for the nails.
